Heroes Series: Mason Symons

An Oscar Mike Hero is an injured Veteran who is conquering their disability and inspiring others. We choose to call these individuals "Heroes" because they won't ever call themselves one. Each Hero helps design their shirt and their personal story is printed on the inside.

ABOUT THIS HERO
While serving in the national guard Mason Symons was injured. He hyperextended his spine and spent a month in a coma which led to depression, addiction, bitterness and worse. In 2010, he attempted to end it all but was found in the nick of time by his family. After seeing how his negativity was pulling his family down with him, he decided to make a change. He saw Murderball, met the Oscar Mike crew, and started playing Quad Rugby. Since then he has lived each day as a Lion.

Front print reads, "It is better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a sheep" with a lion's head depicted in the bold text.  Oscar Mike logo printed on left sleeve.  

ITEM DETAILS:

• Slightly tapered to be less boxy than the mass-market tee. Nothing drastic but you might want to go one size larger if you're on the fence.

• All the best of cotton and poly meet in this pulled-together ringspun, 30/1 knit. If you don't speak t-shirt geek, that means they are soft and smooth with a high thread count.

• Some of our designs are intentionally faded or cracked but our inks always do what they are told by our printers.

• Poly-Cotton (50% Polyester / 50% Combed-Cotton) construction

• A ribbed collar that won't lose it's shape

• Machine wash cold

• Tumble dry low
